Kelley and Austin tied the knot Friday at the picturesque Trout Lake Retreat on a day bathed in sunshine surrounded by the woods and the sparkling waters of the lake. The sunlight filtered through the trees as Kelley and Austin, accompanied by their bridal party, prepared for the moments that lay ahead. Nestled in a cozy home amidst the woods, anticipation mingled with excitement as they prepped for the day. Kelley and Austin shared an intimate first look and private vows as their family watched from the balcony of the house before heading to the venue for the ceremony.

Toasts and dancing took place in the beautiful reception space at Trout Lake with the floor to ceiling windows open to let the summer air in before we stepped out for some of my favorite sunset portraits to date. I always encourage my couples to take ten quick minutes for photos in the evening but this was one of those times I could’ve shot in the light for hours.
